Kuminga shows no mercy in explosive poster dunk vs. Mavs

When Warriors rookie Jonathan Kuminga sees a clear path to the basket, it’s probably best to get out of his way.

But maybe Dallas Mavericks guard Josh Green didn’t get the memo.

With just over seven minutes remaining in the Warriors' 130-92 win over the Mavs on Tuesday at Chase Center, the 19-year-old rookie absolutely punished Green with a monster one-foot dunk in transition to extend the Dubs’ lead.

It was Warriors forward Nemanja Bjelica who fed Kuminga from the opposite side of the floor. And even with four Mavs around him, Kuminga showed no fear on the and-1 that resulted in a 3-point play.

The young rook’s face lit up as Chase Center roared, immediately receiving a high-five from Klay Thompson and some hype from Jordan Poole.

After scoring just five points throughout the first three quarters of the game, Kuminga scored 17 in the fourth and finished with a team-high 22 points on a nearly perfect 8-of-9 shooting from the field, 4-of-4 from behind the arc and making both of his two free-throw attempts in 18 minutes.

He also collected five boards.

In just his first season in the league, Kuminga is already impressing the NBA world with his fearlessness and explosive dunks.
