Warriors' Kuminga, Moody impress in Santa Cruz back-to-back

The present has been pretty great for the Warriors this season, but the future appears to be quite bright as well.

Rookies Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody played a back-to-back with the Santa Cruz Warriors this weekend, and both put on a show.

In Friday's 131-110 loss to the South Bay Lakers, Kuminga posted a career-high 27 points and pulled down 11 rebounds over 32 minutes for Santa Cruz. Kuminga has shown off his athleticism in the open floor numerous times since being drafted No. 7 overall, and had yet another dunk that went viral late in the contest.

Moody had 21 points, three rebounds and three assists, and also delivered his own rim-rocking finish.

The following night, it was Moody who finished with 27 points, seven rebounds and three steals, while Kuminga finished with 21 points, six rebounds and a pair of blocked shots. The G League's Twitter account cut up a package of the young duo's top plays from the latter half of the back-to-back.

Both Kuminga and Moody are getting some much-needed playing time in Santa Cruz, as their NBA minutes have been hard to find with the Warriors' bench having so much success so far this season.

Whatever their impact might end up being this season, it appears the Warriors have a pair of talented young players they can continue to develop in the coming years.
