Warriors' Steve Kerr, like Jurgen Klopp, oversees team of ‘f—ing giants'

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has a kindred spirit in fellow Kopite Steve Kerr.

The Warriors coach (and noted Liverpool fan) channeled Klopp on Wednesday night in his comments after a gusty Game 5 win over the Houston Rockets at Oracle Arena.

"I'm just going to go ahead and say it: Our boys are f—ing giants. That's what he said, and I know how he feels," Kerr said following the 104-99 victory that gave his Warriors a three-game-to-two lead in the NBA playoff second-round series.

"So, I apologize to my mom, who's probably watching, but our guys are f—ing giants. Like, that was an unbelievable victory tonight."

It's not every day that Kerr curses twice on live TV, but it shows the enormity of the Warriors' win. Now, they have a chance to finish off the best-of-seven series in Game 6 on Friday night in Houston.

Kerr's comments came one day after Klopp, known for his passion and energy on the sideline, dropped that same NSFW line following Liverpool's equally unbelievable 4-0 thrashing of Barcelona that sent the Reds to the Champions League Final.

The Giants, who were rained out Wednesday in Denver and therefore watching the Warriors' big win, had some fun with Kerr's Klopp-ism.

There's definitely hope in the Warriors' heart right now. You'll never walk alone, Coach Kerr.
