SAN FRANCISCO -- Sandwiched between weeklong road trips, the Warriors open the briefest of homestands Monday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Pregame coverage on NBC Sports Bay Area begins at 6:30, with tipoff from Chase Center scheduled for 7:40.

Only one team, Portland, has spent more time on the road than the Warriors, who at 3-14 own the league’s worst record. They are 2-8 on the road -- where they’ll go after two games at Chase this week -- and two of those losses were at Oklahoma City, by a combined 34 points.

Facing OKC at home, however, improves the chances of the Warriors getting a positive outcome. The Thunder (5-10) are winless on the road, going 0-6 away from Chesapeake Energy Arena.

ROTATION OUTLOOK

Thunder: None of the team’s top four scorers are shooting better from the field than Gilgeous-Alexander’s 45.7 percent, but three – Gallinari, Paul and Gilgeous-Alexander – are shooting better than 40 percent from beyond the arc ... Despite the towering presence of Adams, OKC continues to be a poor rebounding team, ranking 25th at 42.7 per game ... The key reserve is PG Dennis Schroder. The scrappy veteran is averaging 14.7 ppg and 28.7 mpg ... Diallo has been a key member of the second unit, averaging 8.8 ppg and 21.3 mpg. He’ll be missed.

Warriors: If you’re looking for a statistical positive, check the free-throw and turnover averages. They lead in free-throw percentage (84.0) and their 14.2 turnovers per game is eighth-lowest in the league ... Paschall leads all rookies in total points (268), ranks second in mpg (31.2), is third in ppg (16.8) and fifth in rpg (5.1) ... Keeping the game close might bode well, as OKC is 0-7 in games decided by five or fewer points ... Odd note: Every healthy Warrior has played in every game this month ... Today’s available player count: Eight.
