SAN FRANCISCO -- Yet to win consecutive games this season, the Warriors have a reasonable chance to do so Monday night when the Minnesota Timberwolves visit Chase Center.

Pregame coverage on NBC Sports Bay Area begins at 6:30, with tipoff scheduled for 7:40.

The Warriors (6-24) are coming off a 106-102 victory over the Pelicans on Friday at Chase, with D’Angelo Russell scoring 10 points over the final five minutes. The win snapped a five-game losing streak.

The Timberwolves (10-18) opened December with a 10-8 record but have lost every game this month. Their 10-game losing streak is the longest active slide in the NBA.

Still, the Warriors had better beware. Minnesota is one of only two NBA teams with a better record on the road (7-8) than at home (3-10).

ROTATION OUTLOOK

Timberwolves: The availability of Towns, a two-time All-Star, is crucial. The 7-footer leads the team in scoring (26.5 ppg), rebounding (11.7) and is second in assists (4.4). Minnesota is 1-4 in the five games he has missed this season ... Dieng is their most effective reserve, but he moves into a starting role whenever Towns is sidelined, and has started the last three games ... Ex-Warrior PF Jordan Bell, who has dealt with injuries and lack of production, has played in 17 games this season. He was a DNP-CD Saturday in Portland ... The Timberwolves’ magic number is 110. They are 10-7 when they score at least that many points, 0-11 when they do not ... They are particularly strong on the offensive glass (11.0 rpg, sixth), which is an area where the Warriors have been exploited ... There is one surprising distinction coach Ryan Saunders can claim: He has a winning record (2-1) against the Warriors.

Warriors: Robinson had started all 30 games before Monday, but his absence is better absorbed now than it would have been a couple weeks ago. Paschall, who most likely will replace Robinson, has made 19 starts ... Burks, who has scored in double figures in each of the last 12 games, averaging 16.9 ppg over that span, also could start but coach Steve Kerr has gotten comfortable with his scoring off the bench ... As Green’s minutes bump up (26 to 29 to 31 over the last three games), PF Omari Spellman has seen his minutes decline, from 18 to 11 to only seven Friday against the Pelicans ... Though the Warriors have inched up the defensive rankings (112.5, 24th) they remain dead last (103.3) in offensive rating. The quickest way out of the cellar is if either Jacob Evans III -- who is shooting 25.8 percent from the field since returning Dec. 9 -- or Jordan Poole -- who has shot 11.1 percent from the field in December -- could make a few more shots.

Officials: Kane Fitzgerald (crew chief), JT Orr, Lauren Holtkamp.
