The Warriors' preseason finale against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night hopefully will be the last game Golden State plays without James Wiseman for a very long time. The No. 2 overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft was delayed in joining Warriors' training camp, but the team is leaving the door open that he'll make his debut in their regular-season opener against the Brooklyn Nets on Dec. 22.

In the meantime, we're left with glimpses of his vast potential. He looked tremendous in his first practice with Golden State, and showcased more of his skill set prior to the start of Thursday's preseason finale.

Granted, there's no defense, but you can start to get an idea of what Wiseman might be able to bring to the table. He only attempted one 3-pointer during his extremely brief collegiate career, but clearly, he is intent on making that a part of his NBA game.

The wait will be over soon enough. Get excited.
