Kevon Looney was fantastic in the Warriors' Game 6 win over the Rockets on Friday night.

He recorded 14 points, five rebounds (four offensive), one assist, one steal and one block in 20 minutes to help Golden State advance to the Western Conference finals.

On Monday morning, Golden State assistant coach Mike Brown was a guest on KNBR 680. And at one point, the conversation pivoted back to the fourth quarter of Game 5.

"Yeah we got scoring from our guys at the right time, but I thought what was more important was Looney's play," Brown said. "Looney extended a lot of our possessions by getting offensive rebounds and he was huge for us defensively.

"That kind of went under the radar a little bit. He didn't get as much 'love' as he should have gotten for his performance, especially at the end of that game."

Not true, Mr. Brown. Not true. Clearly, you didn't read this!

After James Harden and PJ Tucker hit back-to-back 3-pointers to give Houston a six-point lead midway through the third quarter, Looney delivered:

A couple of minutes later, the 23-year old made something out of nothing:

Late in the fourth quarter, the 30th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft came up clutch:

Looney also blocked Gerald Greens' 3-point attempt with 32 seconds remaining and then really helped put the game on ice:

We probably owe Coach Brown an apology for waiting about 72 hours after Game 6 ended to post this article.

Looney definitely deserves more love...
