The Warriors on Thursday night selected Moses Moody at No. 14 overall -- the final pick of the lottery.
At one point during the pre-draft process, Golden State considered snagging the Arkansas product with the seventh overall pick.

SIGN UP HERE Moody's first workout with the Warriors was on July 15, and he returned to Chase Center last Sunday to go against Davion Mitchell, Chris Duarte and Trey Murphy III.
"We had him in twice," president of basketball operations Bob Myers told the media. "We had him in once where he did not work out against other players. And we brought him back and had him compete.
"We interviewed him in Chicago. [We like] his composure and his readiness. A few of our development coaches -- we said, 'What did you think of Moody?' And they said, 'Is he a junior or senior?'
"You'll think the same thing when you talk to him. He's got kind of an old soul about him. But we liked him for a lot of reasons --great size, great length, good skill and has a good feel for the game."

Moody -- who will not turn 20 years old until May 31 -- played just one season of college ball.

He averaged 16.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals for the Razorbacks while shooting 42.7 percent overall, 35.8 percent from beyond the arc and 81.2 percent from the free throw line.
And when it comes to the aforementioned "great length," Moody boasts a wingspan just under 7-foot-1. Not bad for a guy who is 6-foot-4.5 inches without shoes on.
