Say goodbye to traditional home and road uniforms in the NBA.
The league has a new uniform deal with Nike that begins next season and is doing away with "home" and "road" uniforms. Each team will have four options to choose from.

Coinciding with the introduction of the new uniforms, the NBA is eliminating its “Home” and “Road” uniform designations. Beginning with the 2017-18 season, home teams will pick which of their uniforms will be worn at all home games and visiting teams will choose a contrasting uniform within their own assortment.
Because of this change, Nike and the NBA worked together to create four core uniforms for each team, classified as “editions,” which draw from the rich heritage of the NBA and its respective franchises.
Nike is also touting its changes to the uniform design that relied on feedback from players and used 3D body, heat and sweat maps of players in its research to make them more comfortable.
The Cavaliers' Kyrie Irving is quoted in the Nike release: “The fact that Nike listened to all of our feedback while developing the new NBA uniforms speaks volumes. I’m excited for the new fit and feel.”
Boston Celtics
The Celtics had gotten away from the traditional white-at-home, green-on-the-road in recent years and wore a gray third uniform with sleeves. It will be interesting to see what the "Community" edition and other versions of the uniforms will look like.
