It was a night chock-full of milestones in Montreal on Tuesday.

Torey Krug tallied his 300th career NHL point on David Pastrnak's 15th goal of the season, notching his 10th assist of the 2019-20 campaign. The 28-year-old defenseman now has a total of 60 goals and 240 assists through 477 games played with Boston.

Krug was signed to an entry-level deal by the Bruins in 2012 as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State. He captained Michigan State from 2010-2012 and tallied 83 points through his three-year collegiate career.

While Krug notched his 300th point, B's rookie defenseman Connor Clifton tallied his first career NHL regular season goal to cut Montreal's lead in half in the second period.

It's important to stress that this is Clifton's first NHL regular season goal, as the 24-year-old tallied two goals through Boston's playoff run last season.

Clifton was a fifth-round pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft by the Phoenix (now Arizona) Coyotes. He spent his collegiate career at Quinnipiac University where he captained the Bobcats during the 2016-17 season. He recently was signed by the Bruins to a three-year, $3 million deal that begins during the 2020-21 season.

Zdeno Chara reached a milestone on Tuesday as well, playing in his 1,500th NHL game. Former Bruins coach Claude Julien also reached a prestigious mark, coaching his 1,200th game.
