Celtics key offseason dates: Player options, contract deadlines loom

Kyrie Irving told us to ask him July 1 about his future with the Celtics. But Boston's offseason ball will get rolling a lot sooner than that.

The Celtics' season ended Wednesday in a blowout Game 5 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, which means the focus shifts to a summer of potential franchise-altering change.

Is unrestricted free agent Marcus Morris done in Boston? What about restricted free agent Terry Rozier, who said outright he wants a "fresh start" after a trying season? And, of course, the (189) million-dollar question: Will Irving re-sign with the Celtics or seek greener pastures?

Before those questions get answered, there's next Tuesday's NBA Draft Lottery, which could give the C's two extra first-round picks ... or zero.

In short: It will be a busy summer in Boston. So, as you're planning that beach vacation, here's a calendar of key dates to know between now and the beginning of NBA Summer League.
