Two Celtics players set to return vs. Wizards

The Boston Celtics mostly will be at full strength for Sunday's showdown with the Washington Wizards.

Marcus Smart is set to return to the lineup after a six-game absence. The veteran guard suffered a right thigh contusion in last Monday's win over the Indiana Pacers, then entered health and safety protocols. He had been listed as probable on the previous Celtics injury report due to return to competition conditioning.

Also available for Sunday's game is Aaron Nesmith, who sprained his right ankle during Boston's Martin Luther King Day win over the New Orleans Pelicans. The injury caused the second-year forward to miss the last two games.

The only two players missing for the C's are the newly-acquired Bol Bol (right foot surgery) and P.J. Dozier (left ACL surgery).

The reinforcements come at a nice time for the Celtics as they've dropped their last two games. Washington also will be looking to end a two-game skid.

Celtics at Wizards is set for a 3:30 p.m. ET tip-off on NBC Sports Boston. Coverage begins with Celtics Pregame Live at 3 p.m.
