Celtics remain perfect when Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown top 30 points in same game

Good things tend to happen when your best players shine at the same time.

That's been true for the Boston Celtics, who remained perfect in games where franchise pillars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown both top 30 points.

After Monday night's 140-129 overtime road victory over the Charlotte Hornets, the Green are 5-0 when Tatum and Brown go for 30 on the same night.

Tatum and Brown first went for 30 points in the same game on Dec. 27, 2019 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Coincidentally, the last time both Brown and Tatum topped 30 points in the same game was against the Hornets as well, in a 120-111 win for the Celtics on April 28, 2021.
