If you're a Boston fan missing NBA basketball, we have good news: You can watch the Celtics on Wednesday night.
The 2019-20 NBA season is still on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. But to fill the hoops void, NBC Sports Boston is re-airing some of the team's most memorable games as part of its "Classic Celtics" series.
On the docket for Wednesday? Game 1 of Boston's 2018 first-round playoff series with the Milwaukee Bucks, in which the Celtics won an overtime thriller at TD Garden to take a 1-0 series lead.
Here are a few reasons to watch Boston's 113-107 victory:
- Terry Rozier drops 23 points while outplaying Eric Bledsoe in the first installment of what would be a series-long beef between the two point guards.
- Bucks sharpshooter Khris Middleton hits a game-tying 3-pointer at the end of regulation to stun the Celtics and force overtime.
Boston Celtics
- The Celtics grind it out in overtime thanks to strong play from veteran Al Horford (team-high 24 points).
The action all starts at 7 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Boston. You can also watch the game in the MyTeams app and online at NBCSportsBoston.com.
