Tatum, Turner had hilarious Twitter exchange after Lillard's 71-point game

Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard scored 71 points in Sunday night's win over the Houston Rockets. The historic performance drew plenty of praise on NBA Twitter, with several players chiming in with their own thoughts.

One of Lillard's former teammates, Evan Turner, weighed in with a funny tweet, which caught the attention of Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum. The C's star couldn't resist a friendly jab at his former assistant coach.

Turner had a couple other funny Twitter exchanges Sunday night, including this reply to his "I hoop like dame for real" tweet.

Lillard is averaging 32.3 points per game this season, which puts him second in scoring behind Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid.

There are a lot of great scorers in the league these days. In fact, six players -- including Lillard and Tatum -- are on pace to average 30-plus points per game. No more than three players have averaged 30-plus points per game in a single season over the last 10 years.

Lillard is a little different, though. When he gets hot, few players in the sport are more unstoppable offensively than the Blazers superstar. He can score in every way imaginable.
