Tatum becomes first Celtic ever to accomplish this impressive feat

Jayson Tatum's spectacular 2022-23 regular season stands alone in Boston Celtics history.

On Sunday, Tatum officially became the first Celtics player ever to average 30-plus points per game in a season. The 25-year-old finished the campaign with 30.1 PPG, easily topping his career-high of 26.9 set last year.

The great Larry Bird held Boston's previous single-season points per game record with 29.9 in 1988. Tatum reacted to his achievement on Twitter.
