Kemba Walker ejected from Spurs-Celtics for arguing questionable non-call

It was pandemonium at TD Garden in the third quarter of Wednesday night's San Antonio Spurs-Boston Celtics matchup.

Celtics guard Kemba Walker was ejected from the game for arguing with the officials about a non-foul call on a LaMarcus Aldridge screen. Coach Brad Stevens was understandably irate with official Evan Scott handing Walker two technical fouls.

As you can see, Walker may have said something he shouldn't have before the first technical. But after that, there appeared to be nothing said by Walker to warrant the second. An announcement warning fans about throwing objects on the court was made following the ejection after a drink was tossed in the direction of the Spurs bench.

Before the ejection, Walker had six points, four assists and three rebounds in 18 minutes.

After game, the officials' crew chief, Rodney Mott, talked to to pool reporter, Jimmy Golen of the Associated Press, about the ejection:

When asked about Aldridge's screen, Mott said, "In real-time, it's a difficult play, but we deem the screen to be legal, as LaMarcus was set."

And what led to Walker's first tech?

"Per rule, Kemba Walker used profanity toward an official [Scott], which led to the first technical foul," Mott said.

And the second?

"The same," said Mott. "He continued to use profanity and was given a second technical foul and was ejected."
