Kyrie Irving discusses future with Celtics, whether Earth is flat in lengthy interview

In an interview with Sopan Deb of the New York Times, Kyrie Irving explained his thoughts on whether Earth is flat or round and answered a question regarding his future with the Celtics.

Irving, as has been the case each time he has been asked a question about his beliefs on the shape of the Earth, didn't give a straight answer. Instead, he said he "didn't know" and "it's fun to have the conversation."

As for Irving's long-term plans with the Celtics, Kyrie seems focused solely on the present and heading into the 2018-19 season hoping to bring a championship to Boston.

Yahoo Sports' Chris Mannix stated there is "no guarantee" Irving re-signs with the Celtics in 2019, and the C's are "scared" of the Knicks snagging him away.
