NBA Rumors: Kyrie Irving expected to sign four-year, $141 million deal with Nets

No surprises here.

As anticipated, Kyrie Irving will meet with the Nets when free agency begins Sunday at 6:00 p.m. and "move quickly" toward a four-year, $141 million deal, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowksi.

Brooklyn has been rumored to be Irving's preferred destination since May, and it's clear the Celtics knew of the star point guard's intentions to leave Boston as they reportedly already have his replacement in Kemba Walker.

With Irving all but locked up, he and the Nets will look to get one or two more impact players to join him. Irving has been pressing fellow star Kevin Durant to sign with Brooklyn, according to reports, and the Nets are one of the four teams Durant will engage with once free agency gets underway.
