The AFC East was front and center on Day 2 of the 2020 NFL Draft.
A total of 13 picks were made between the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets and Buffalo Bills. The Patriots even traded up three (!) times, once in the second round and twice in the third round. The second trade in Round 3 was made with the Jets.
With the second and third rounds completed, it's time to analyze each pick made by an AFC East team.

New England Patriots
Pick No. 37, Round 2: Kyle Dugger, S, Lenoir-Rhyne
This was an under-the-radar pick, but there's no doubting Dugger has excellent athleticism and plays with a chip on his shoulder. He was the only Division II player invited to the Senior Bowl and excelled on special teams, where he tallied six punt return touchdowns as a four-year starter.
Pick No. 60, Round 2 (via Ravens): Josh Uche, LB, Michigan
Uche has the potential to be a huge steal in the second round. The Michigan edge rusher tallied a career-high 7.5 sacks and 10.5 tackles for a loss in 12 games for the Wolverines last season. This stat also will make Patriots fans feel better about their team trading up to select Uche.
Pick No. 87, Round 3: Anfernee Jennings, LB, Alabama
The Patriots lost linebackers Elandon Roberts, Jamie Collins and Kyle Van Noy in free agency, so it's no surprise Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is targeting athletic, versatile linebackers on Day 2. Jennings tallied a career-high eight sacks with 12.5 tackles for a loss and five passes defensed in 13 games for Alabama last season.
Pick No. 91, Round 3: Devin Asiasi, TE, UCLA
The Patriots finally used a Day 2 pick on a tight end -- their first since Rob Gronkowski in 2010 -- to address one of the team's most glaring roster needs. Asiasi set career highs in 2019 with 44 receptions, 641 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

Pick No. 101, Round 3: Dalton Keene, TE, Virginia Tech
The Patriots were serious about upgrading at tight end after taking two of them within a 10-pick span in the third round. Keene is an athletic, tough player who blocks very well and could see snaps at fullback as well as tight end. We know Belichick values versatility a lot, and that's what he's getting in Keene. He also tallied 21 receptions for 240 yards and five touchdowns for Virginia Tech in 2019.

Miami Dolphins
Pick No. 39, Round 2: Robert Hunt, G, Louisiana-Lafayette
Hunt is a versatile offensive lineman who started games at left tackle, left guard and right tackle in his college career. He's also one of the most athletic guards in this class. The Dolphins have done a nice job upgrading their offensive line with the selection of Hunt, as well as USC offensive tackle Austin Jackson in Round 1.
Pick No. 56, Round 2: Raekwon Davis, DT, Alabama
Davis commands double teams in the interior of the defensive line at 6-foot-7 and 312 pounds. He has the potential to significantly upgrade Miami's run defense, which allowed the sixth-most rushing yards last season.
Pick No. 70, Round 3: Brandon Jones, S, Texas
The overhaul of the Miami secondary continues on Day 2 of the draft with the selection of Brandon Jones, who earned second-team All-Big 12 honors in 2019. He's a versatile player who tested very well at the NFL Scouting Combine. He was a leader on the Longhorns defense who played in 44 games over four seasons.
Buffalo Bills
Pick No. 54, Round 2: A.J. Epenesa, Edge, Iowa
Epenesa was a force last season with 11.5 sacks and 14 tackles for a loss in 13 games for Iowa. He was projected to go in the early 20s of the first round in many mock drafts, so for the Bills to get him at this stage in the second round is tremendous value.
Pick No. 86, Round 3: Zack Moss, RB, Utah
Moss has great strength and runs with a punishing style. He tallied three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons and 38 total touchdowns in his collegiate career. Moss should compliment Bills running back Devin Singletary quite well, giving Buffalo an excellent 1-2 punch in the backfield.
Fun fact: Moss is the cousin of former NFL players Santana and Sinorice Moss.
New York Jets
Pick No. 59, Round 2: Denzel Mims, WR, Baylor
The Jets needed to give young quarterback Sam Darnold some help, and they've done that with their first two picks. After selecting Louisville offensive tackle Mekhi Becton at No. 11 overall, the Jets took Baylor wide receiver Denzel Mims to give the team's pass offense a true deep threat. Mims has great speed, and his ability to make unreal catches in traffic is quite impressive (see the video below).
Pick No. 68, Round 3: Ashtyn Davis, S, California
Davis was a member of the California track and field team who walked on to the football team and played a key role in the secondary. He covers the whole field with exceptional athleticism and has really improved as a tackler. He should form an exciting duo at safety alongside Jamal Adams.
Pick No. 79, Round 3: Jabari Zuniga, DE, Florida
Zuniga brings plenty of athleticism to the Jets front-seven after running a 4.64 40-time at the NFL Scouting Combine. He's a bit undersized, but his work ethic is fantastic. The Jets did not rush the passer well enough last season, so Zuniga is definitely addressing a need on New York's defense.
