Antonio Brown took to social media Tuesday to apologize to New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
The ex-Patriots wide receiver specifically mentioned the "bad media and the drama" he caused. Check out his full message — and the accompanying photo of him and Tom Brady — in the tweet below:
The same message and photo was posted to Brown's Instagram, and several Patriots players hit "like" on the post, including quarterback Tom Brady.
Brown was signed by the Patriots after their season-opening win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played one game but was released before Week 3 after being the cause of multiple off-the-field distractions, including a civil lawsuit filed against him by his ex-trainer.
The 30-year-old wideout went on a tweetstorm less than two days after being released by the Patriots, and one of his tweets brought up Kraft's Orchids of Asia scandal from January. Brown eventually deleted those tweets. He also went on a profanity-laced rant earlier this month during which he tweeted he was "done" with the league.

Why would Brown apologize to Kraft now? Could he be trying to return to the Patriots? Maybe he just felt bad about what was said and wanted to publicly apologize? Whatever the case might be, the Patriots have continued to win plenty of games without Brown, but the offense has shown plenty of weaknesses since his lone appearance in Week 2.
