Damien Harris' college career

Harris played college football at the University of Alabama for Nick Saban.

Ranked second among running backs by ESPN in the 2015 high school class (after current Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones II), Harris chose Alabama among a staggering 27 Division I offers. He was ranked as the top high school prospect from Kentucky.

Harris landed with the Crimson Tide after racking up 6,748 rushing yards and 122 touchdowns at Madison Southern High School. 

Alabama played in the National Championship Game all four years Harris was on campus, winning titles following the 2015 and 2017 seasons. He served primarily as a backup to future NFL Offensive Player of the Year Derrick Henry as a freshman before serving as the team's No. 1 back the next three years.

Harris finished his career with the Crimson Tide with 3,070 yards rushing, averaging 6.4 yards per carry with 23 rushing touchdowns. He's one of nine players in Alabama's storied history to rush for more than 3,000 yards in Tuscaloosa.
