The financial details of wide receiver Damiere Byrd's contract with the New England Patriots have been reported.
ESPN's Field Yates tweeted Friday morning that Byrd will receive a base salary of $1 million in addition to a signing bonus and incentives.

After battling injuries in his first three pro seasons, all with the Carolina Panthers, Byrd had a productive 2019 campaign with the Arizona Cardinals. He set career highs with 11 games played, 32 receptions, 46 targets and 359 receiving yards. He also tallied one touchdown reception.
Byrd is one of three reported free agent additions the Patriots have made this week. The others are defensive lineman Beau Allen and safety Adrian Phillips.
