The New England Patriots Hall of Fame committee is set to meet today.
The team Hall of Fame, while obviously distinct from the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, is still hallowed grounds for former Patriots and fans of all generations.
Some teams refer to their equivalent of a team hall of fame as a "Ring of Honor" or "Ring of Fame."
Last year, Matt Light, Mike Vrabel, and Richard Seymour were named as finalists.
Light was eventually selected as the 2018 Patriots Hall of Fame Inductee.

While a fan vote ultimately determines the inductee, the committee meeting begins the process of narrowing the 2019 field to the three finalists fans can vote on.

But who is in the running to get the nod?
This year's rumored favorites look familiar. Seymour has been a finalist each of the last two years, while Vrabel has made the final three every year from 2016-2018.
Vrabel played linebacker for the Patriots from 2001-2008, during which time the Patriots made it to four Super Bowls, winning three.
Seymour meanwhile, who was the Patriots' first draft pick in 2001 at #6 overall, played defensive tackle for the team, also from 2001-2008.
