Rhamondre Stevenson signed a four-year, $4,229,056 rookie deal with the Patriots in May. Just under $750,000 was guaranteed at signing.

Rhamondre Stevenson's college career

Stevenson played two years college football at the University of Oklahoma for Lincoln Riley after two years at the junior college level at Cerritos College in Norwalk, California.

Stevenson, the 2015 Las Vegas Sun Player of the Year as a junior at Centennial High School, was the top-ranked junior college running back -- 12th overall -- by ESPN for the class of 2019 and chose Oklahoma over other offers from Brigham Young, Hawaii, Kansas State, Middle Tennessee State, Southern Miss, Texas and Utah. He rushed for more than 2,000 yards in his second season at Cerritos in 2018.

Over 13 games for the Sooners between 2019 and 2020, Stevenson rushed for 1,180 yards on 165 carries (7.2 yards per rush) with 13 touchdowns. 

In Oklahoma's 55-20 Cotton Bowl win over Florida following the 2020 season, Stevenson was named MVP after rushing for 186 yards and a touchdown.
