What's the deal with Antonio Brown jersey sales at the Patriots ProShop?

Antonio Brown jerseys may or may not be sought after by New England Patriots' fans.

But when it comes to grabbing the star wide receiver's jersey at the Patriots ProShop, you'll have to jump through some hoops.

Brown's No. 17 jersey still isn't readily available at the ProShop in Foxborough, but fans can order a customized version of his jersey, according to Nicole Yang of The Boston Globe. The only issue with jersey customization is -- it'll take about an hour to be completed. The good news? It costs the same as some of the other jerseys hanging on the racks, $99. Yes, it is expensive, but the point here is that it won't cost you more money to have a jersey custom printed.

Even though his jersey isn't on the racks yet, the reasoning behind it doesn't seem to be because of the sexual assault and rape allegations against him. The jerseys typically on the racks in the ProShop are the ones that sell the most -- Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, Kyle Van Noy, etc.

The ProShop Collection and Olympia Sports of Patriot Place said they are expecting shipments of Brown jerseys within the next week or so, according to Yang. So, Brown's jersey may be readily available sooner rather than later.

There is still no word on whether Brown will play for the Patriots in their Week 3 matchup against the New York Jets, but he did participate in practice Friday.
