Dave Roberts didn't throw out the first pitch before Game 2 of the World Series at Fenway Park. That wouldn't make much sense, being the opponent in the series and all. . .
But the Dodgers manager and 2004 Red Sox hero did find a way to be a part of it with his '04 teammates. Roberts gave Kevin Millar a big hug and tipped his cap to the Fenway crowd before Millar, David Ortiz, Pedro Martinez, Keith Foulke, Jason Varitek, Alan Embree, and Tim Wakefield tossed the ceremonial first pitch.
The ovations just keep on coming for the team that broke the curse 14 years ago.
