Rafael Devers homered twice and Boston scored six unanswered runs to earn the 6-5 win. Reliever Matt Barnes, who has struggled to regain All-Star form, pitched a 1-2-3 ninth inning to earn the save.

He channeled his inner Jaylen Brown to describe the Red Sox' recent hot streak.

"I think you can kind of tell the energy shifting. Guys are just having fun playing," Barnes said, per Boston Herald's Steve Hewitt.

It's unclear whether Barnes was purposely making a Celtics reference, but it sure seems like a nod to Brown's famous "the energy is about to shift" tweet. The C's went 25-6 after Brown's message and surged to the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference standings. They're now going head-to-head with the Miami Heat for a trip to the NBA Finals.
