Red Sox-Rays lineup: J.D. Martinez on bench for Game 1

J.D. Martinez is on the Boston Red Sox' ALDS roster after missing the Wild Card game with an ankle injury, but he won't be in Thursday night's starting lineup.

The veteran slugger will be on the bench for Game 1 vs. the Tampa Bay Rays with Kyle Schwarber taking over his designated hitter spot. Kiké Hernandez will lead off and play center field with Hunter Renfoe and Alex Verdugo in right and left field, respectively.
