The second suspect in the shooting of David Ortiz reportedly has been apprehended.
Ramon D. Carmona, a Dominican television producer and a friend of Ortiz's, wrote on Twitter that the alleged shooter has been captured.
The tweet translates to, "Exclusive photo of the capture of the alleged shooter who shot @davidortiz ... the individual was accompanied by several men, supposedly from the same gang."
No further details on the second suspect have been released. The first suspect, Eddy Vladimir Feliz Garcia, was arrested immediately following the shooting and will officially be charged with being an accomplice to attempted murder.
Ortiz, who underwent his second surgery in Boston on Monday night, remains in intensive care at Mass General. On Tuesday, he reportedly took his first steps since the surgery and spoke with loved ones.
