WATCH: Chris Sale takes anger out on cooler after allowing HR vs. Indians

Share

Chris Sale is the latest Red Sox pitcher to take anger out on an inanimate object.

Two weeks after Rick Porcello smashed dugout TVs during an outburst, Sale was seen on Tuesday night's broadcast assaulting a Gatorade cooler. The left-hander's freakout came after letting up a two-run home run to Indians slugger Franmil Reyes in the sixth inning.

Watch below:

Sale was cruising up until that point, so it's easy to understand why he was so upset with his slip-up. It didn't get much better for the Sox ace afterward as he let up two more runs before being pulled in the seventh. He finished with five hits and five runs allowed in 6.2 innings pitched, along with 12 strikeouts.

On the bright side for Sale, he became the fastest pitcher in MLB history to notch 2,000 career K's.
