Danny Trevathan inducted into University of Kentucky Hall of Fame

Danny Trevathan was inducted into the University of Kentucky Athletics Hall of Fame on Thursday. Trevathan played all four years for the Wildcats, including two incredible seasons his junior and senior years.

Trevathan was a two-time All-American linebacker and First Team All-SEC, as well.

Across his junior and senior years, Trevathan recorded an incredible 287 tackles to go with six sacks, four picks, nine forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He led the SEC in tackles in both 2010 and 2011.

In the NFL, Trevathan has played for the Broncos and Bears, continuing long traditions of excellent linebacker play with each team.

He joins Randall Cobb, George Blanda and “Bear” Bryant as some of the football players in the university’s Hall of Fame.
