Eddie Jackson sprains ankle on game-sealing interception

CHICAGO, IL -- Eddie Jackson has a knack for ending games. His latest effort, though, might have come at a cost.

Jackson, who sealed the Bears' NFC Title-winning 24-17 win with an interception, injured his ankle on the play:

The Bears are calling it a right ankle sprain. The foot's condition will be monitored for a few days before any more decisions are made.

"We'll monitor that and probably know more here in the next 24-48 hours," Matt Nagy said. "We'll see how it goes, communicate more here in the next couple days, and get it looked at and know exactly where it's at."

For what it's worth, head coach Matt Nagy admitted he was relieved to hear it was only an ankle sprain, given the graphic nature of the injury.

After the game, Jackson was seen moving around the locker room in a walking boot.
