Packers break Bears' hearts again in Madden '20 simulation

Once again, Madden '20 has predicted that the Bears will lose this week. This should be a good sign for Bears’ fans, though, as Madden has predicted the Bears to lose each of the last three weeks, with Matt Nagy’s crew actually winning all three of those games. Here’s hoping this week will make it four in a row.

The sim got off to a rough start for Aaron Rodgers. On the Packers’ first drive of the game, he threw a pick-six to Kyle Fuller, giving the Bears an early 7-0 lead. But that would be his only blemish of the game, as Rodgers proceeded to complete 25 of 30 pass attempts for 274 yards and 2 touchdowns. His favorite target was Davante Adams, who put up 112 receiving yards and accounted for both of Rodgers’ touchdowns.

Mitch Trubisky, on the other hand, had a rather pedestrian game, as he only threw for 169 yards and no touchdowns. The Bears had a chance at the end of the game, with first and goal and an opportunity to even the score at 17. However, the Packers’ goal line defense held firm and kept the Bears out of the end zone on fourth down to preserve the victory. The Packers got the win and all but ended the virtual Bears’ playoff chances, 17-10 the final.
