While this is obviously concerning, it stands to reason that the Bears are practicing excess precaution - not unlike what they did with Khalil Mack and Allen Robinson earlier in the season.
Plus, the Giants are ... not great? Probably beatable with Chase Daniel? Whatever you want to call them, resting Trubisky before December 9th's showdown with the Rams might not be the worst idea.
