Some notable news out of Halas Hall this morning, where it was announced that Kyle Long might be practicing by the end of the week.

During his press conference on Wednesday afternoon, head coach Matt Nagy said that while Long won't practice today, there's 'a possibility' that the lineman might be back at practice by the end of the week.

Long has been on Injured Reserve since November 3rd with a tendon injury in his foot. The guard suffered the injury in the fourth quarter the Bears' 24-10 victory against the Jets in Week 8.

In other injury news, both Eddie Jackson and Aaron Lynch were held out of practice on Wednesday. Both are suffering from various sprains - Jackson in his ankle and Lynch in his elbow. The feeling around the building continues to be that neither injury are considered season-ending.

"We'll just kind of monitor those guys for the rest of the week," Nagy added. "We'll see where they're at. As the rest of the week goes on, we'll see where we're at with them playing status-wise."
