Derrick Rose is playing at the United Center. He scores a team-high 24 points in a win. On a trip to the free throw line he hears "MVP" chants from the Bulls crowd.

No, it isn't 2011. It's 2018 and Rose is with the visiting Timberwolves, but all of those things happened.

Rose led the Timberwolves to a 119-94 win on Wednesday. He scored 24 points on 11-for-19 shooting and had eight assists.

In the fourth quarter, he even heard the classic "MVP" chant from Bulls fans.

He got some more love after the game.

Clearly, Rose is still popular among some Bulls fans.

The Simeon product likes playing against the Bulls apparently as well. This was his second game at the United Center as an opponent. His first time was with the Knicks on Nov. 4, 2016. In that game, he scored 15 points and had 11 assists and seven rebounds in a Knicks win.

In four games against the Bulls in his career, Rose is averaging 19.5 points and 6.5 assists per game. His teams are also 4-0 in those games and have won by at least 13 each time out.
