Last Dance: Michael Jordan refused to be interviewed at his home

If you didn't know any better, you'd assume ESPN interviewed Michael Jordan at his home for "The Last Dance." Throughout the docuseries, MJ is sitting in boujee locations, often with a beverage to his right.

Well, the homes may be boujee, but none of them are Jordan's.

Jordan refused to be interviewed at his Jupiter, Fla. residence, "The Last Dance" director Jason Hehir said in an interview with Insider

"There are certain aspects of his life that he wants to keep private," Hehir said. "He just didn't want people to see all that. I respected that, so I never pushed back."

ESPN filmed at three homes located near the Hall of Famer's own. One was a rental and two are owned by Hehir's friends, who granted him permission to use for filming.

"I looked for places that seemed like Michael might live in," Hehir said. "I knew what his real house looked like and I knew this is a wealthy guy who has certain tastes, so we wanted something to match that."

You can't blame Jordan for wanting some privacy. And if you're going to let anyone pretend to live in your home, it's him.
