Could Bias have been better than MJ?

Len Bias passed away on June 19, 1986 from a cocaine overdose, just two days after the Celtics chose him as the No. 2 pick in the NBA draft.

Since the cause of death negatively impacted his reputation and how he's memorialized, Bias was never inducted into the University of Maryland's athletics hall of fame. Despite his alma mater's lack of honors, the Washington D.C., Metropolitan Basketball Hall of Fame feels Bias has earned an induction for his talents he possessed on the court. He will be honored this Saturday.

CSNWashington.com's Dave Ungrady takes a look at Bias' top moments that defined his legacy.

In their only matchup together, Bias outscored Michael Jordan 24-21 going head-to-head at College Park. However, North Carolina went on to beat the Terps, 74-62.

If Bias had played in the NBA before his passing, would he have been better than Jordan?
