Patrick Wisdom is dancing his way into the National League Rookie of the Year conversation and towards Cubs history.
Wisdom crushed a three-run home run during Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Rockies, a blast that came close to hitting a building on Waveland Ave.

That was Wisdom's 21st home run this season, most among NL rookies. It's also five away from tying the single-season Cubs rookie home run record — set by none other than Kris Bryant.
Bryant, whom the Cubs traded to the Giants last month, hit 26 home runs during his 2015 debut season. He broke the previous record set by Billy Williams (25) in 1961.
"For me, Wis is right there in that conversation," said Cubs manager David Ross when asked where he'd put Wisdom in the NL Rookie of the Year race. "Maybe one or two.
"If I really had to vote, I'd vote for my guy."

With a little over a month left this season, Wisdom has a great chance to etch his name into team history.
At the least, Wisdom is set to lead the team in home runs this season. He's one away from tying Javy Báez (22) for first on the Cubs.
