Ryan Castellanos hasn't seen Nicholas hit like this in awhile

Nicholas Castellanos is one of the best hot streaks of his career.

Castellanos has now smashed 11 home runs over 27 games with the Cubs and has played a central role in the North Siders closing the gap in the NL Central race, now standing 1.0 game back of the division-leading St. Louis Cardinals.

Nicholas' brother Ryan took to Twitter to let everyone know he has not seen him hit this well since his high school days.

Nicholas played his first two seasons of high school ball at American Heritage School in Plantation, Florida and spent his final two years at Archbishop McCarthy High School in Fort Lauderdale.

Castellanos was (unsurprisingly) a monster at the high school level, winning the Gatorade Player of the Year Award as a senior. In his senior year, he hit .542 with 41 RBI, along with 22 stolen bases and six home runs

Nicholas is back in 'Gatorade Player of the Year' form and the Cubs are sure to think long and hard about how to approach re-signing Castellanos and his red-hot bat. The fans certainly are calling for it.
