Hawks continue piling up the shots

The Blackhawks are on their game. Mike Smith is also on his. That's why we're still scoreless midway through and that's why it's a little scary for these Hawks as they face elimination.

The latest examples were Jonathan Toews weaving through the Coyotes' D just over a minute into the period. Then five minutes in, a great passing sequence from Andrew Brunette on the right side to Toews down the left to Brendan Morrison streaking to the blue paint, but Morrison couldn't elevate the shot.

Less than two minutes later, Niklas Hjalmarsson launched a heavy slap shot that Smith couldn't corral. The puck squirted just behind him, but he laid down on it just as a pileup ensued around him.

Shots are 21-4 Hawks...yes, 21-4, approaching the halfway point of this Game 6.
