CSNChicago.com preps reporter "Edgy" Tim O’Halloran spotlights 100 high school football teams in 100 days. The first 75 team profiles will focus on teams making strides across Chicagoland and elsewhere in the state. Starting Aug. 1, we’ll unveil the @CSNPreps Top 25 Power Rankings, leading up to kickoff on Friday, Aug. 26. You can view Edgy Tim's other football previews here.

School: Glenbrook South Titans

Head coach: David Schoenwetter

Assistant coaches: Tom Mietus, Alan Greenberg, Matt Johlie, Travis Myers, Steve Stanicek, Pa'al Joshie, Mike Harrison, Zach Walker, Bobby Cowhey, Sean Batti

How they fared in 2015: 4-5 (2-3) Central Suburban South. Glenbrook South failed to qualify for the IHSA football playoff field.

Biggest storyline in 2016: Can the Titans get back to the playoffs under their first year head coach?

Names to watch this season: WB Nate Acocella, OL Jack Carasotti

Biggest holes to fill: The Titans welcome back just five returning starters (three offense, two defense), so lots of spots will be inexperienced.

EDGY's early take: Gone to retirement is longtime head coach Mike Noll, so the Titans will have plenty of questions heading into preseason camp. Yet, this program has made the IHSA playoffs in 10 of the past 11 seasons. I expect this team to again compete for another playoff spot in 2016.
