Taking a look at five future offensive draft picks who stood out at the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine and that the Eagles should keep an eye on leading up to the draft.
We skipped a lot of first-round guys to find players later in the draft too.

While it seems like most draft folks kind of agree that the top three receivers in this deep class are Jerry Jeudy, CeeDee Lamb and Henry Ruggs, an impressive performance from Jefferson puts him at the top of the next group. Aside from the numbers, Jefferson looked very smooth in field drills.
40 yard: 4.43
Vertical jump: 37.5”
Broad jump: 126"
He’d be a good fit for the Eagles as a versatile player who could play inside and outside. He should be in play at No. 21.
NFL
Denzel Mims, WR, Baylor (6-3, 207)
Even at his size, Mims had the third-fastest 40 time among all receivers. After a really impressive Senior Bowl week, Mims kept his momentum going at the combine. Even his 16 reps on the bench are impressive when you consider his arms are nearly 34 inches.
40 yard: 4.38
Bench: 16 reps
Vertical jump: 38.5”
Broad jump: 131”
3-cone: 6.66s
20-yard shuttle: 4.43s
Chase Claypool, WR, Notre Dame (6-4, 238)
The combination of size and speed from Claypool was one of the biggest eye-poppers from receiver night at the combine. For a guy to run a 4.42 at 238 pounds is going to turn some heads. If nothing else, he’s worth a pick as a special teamer and a high-ceiling prospect.
40 time: 4.42
Bench: 19 reps
Vertical jump: 40.5”
Broad jump: 126”
Hakeem Adeniji, OL, Kansas (6-4, 302)
Here’s a guy who is probably rising more than some folks anticipated. He might be a guard or a tackle at the next level or he might be both. The Eagles never shy away from versatile offensive linemen. He could be an option in the fourth-sixth round area.
40 time: 5.17
Bench: 26 reps
Vertical jump: 34”
Broad jump: 115”
A.J. Dillon, RB, Boston College (6-0, 247)
By far the heaviest running back at the combine, Dillon still put up impressive numbers. In fact, he had the best jumps of the entire running back group. Not sure what round Dillon is going to go in but it would be fun to imagine him in a backfield with Miles Sanders as big-time complements.
40 time: 4.53
Bench: 23 reps
Vertical jump: 41”
Broad jump: 131”
3-cone: 7.19s
The obvious comparison here is to Titans running back Derrick Henry, who was also exactly 247 pounds back in 2016, putting up very similar numbers:
Henry’s combine in 2016:
40 time: 4.54
Bench: 22 reps
Vertical jump: 37"
Broad jump: 130"
3-cone: 7.20s
