Eagles players react to Hopkins' insane last-second TD

The Eagles get to face DeAndre Hopkins and the Arizona Cardinals in a little more than a month, in what promises to be a real test for Jim Schwartz's defense.

And after Sunday, it's clear the Birds know they'll be in for a challenge in Arizona.

Hopkins ended the Cardinals' dramatic Week 10 win over the Bills on Sunday with an insane, improbable, unbelievable TD catch on a Hail Mary from Kyler Murray with one second left. Look at this outrageous play:

I've watched it a dozen times now and still can't believe it happened. Hopkins is so, so good.

Hopkins' catch drew the attention of basically every sports fan, including a couple of Eagles in Darius Slay and Jalen Reagor:

Yep, that about sums it up.

Slay will likely have the honor of trying to slow Hopkins down in Week 16, no easy task. Incredibly, it'll mark the first time Slay and Hopkins have faced off in their respective careers. The only time the Lions faced the Texans during Slay's seven years in Detroit, in 2016, Slay was out with an injury. Hopkins caught four balls for 44 yards.

Watching Reagor react to Hopkins' play is doubly painful for Eagles fans, considering Howie Roseman discussed a potential trade for the star wide receiver after the 2019 season before deciding to go a different route.

Hopkins could've been teaching the Eagles' rookie the ins and outs of the wide receiver position this season, while catching passes from Carson Wentz and vastly improving this dreadful Eagles team. Instead, the Eagles will have to go up against a wide receiver who makes people react like this:

What a world.
