Eagles claim former 6th-round receiver Travis Fulgham off waivers

The Eagles have claimed wide receiver Travis Fulgham off waivers after he was released by the Packers on Wednesday.

Fulgham, 24, was drafted in the 6th round in the 2019 draft by the Lions out of Old Dominion. Fulgham (6-2, 215) spent his rookie season with the Lions, playing in three games but didn’t have a catch.

He split his rookie season between the Lions’ active roster and practice squad. But Detroit cut Fulgham on Aug. 9 and he was claimed by the Packers. He lasted just nine days in Green Bay before they waived him again.

While he isn’t super fast, (Fulgham ran a 4.58 at the combine), he is a very big receiver with other athletic attributes.

In 2018 at Old Dominion, Fulgham caught 63 passes for 1,083 yards (17.2) and 9 touchdowns.

And apparently, he turned some heads at last year’s Senior Bowl.

With the addition of Fulgham, the Eagles have a total of 11 receivers on their roster.
