Fighting until the end

The biggest news from the NovaCare Complex this week was that Malcolm Jenkins said he didn’t like the fight or demeanor from the Eagles as they were getting their butts kicked in New Orleans. Several of his teammates pushed back a little, saying they didn’t think anyone quit. If there are quitters on this team, they’re going to show up in these last six games. This thing could spiral.

Don’t look now

Sure, the Eagles crushed the Giants, 34-13, earlier in the season, but these Giants are different. They come into this game on a two-game winning streak and will be a little more formidable. They’ve found a lot of success on the ground, which makes sense considering they have Saquon Barkley, who looks like a generational talent.

Not sure what to make of these two wins from the Giants, but I know they look like a better team than the last time it faced the Eagles.

Depleted defensive backs

The Eagles are going to rely on Chandon Sullivan, De’Vante Bausby and Cre’Von LeBlanc in this game. The longest any of them has been on the active roster is a month. Sullivan arrived a month before this game. All three will be tested by the Giants on Sunday. Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard is quite a test for a trio of unproven players.
