OAKLAND, Calif. -- Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala says he plans to play Game 7 of the NBA Finals despite a balky back that limited him the previous game.
Iguodala took part in a brief walkthrough Saturday and got treatment while the Warriors held a light practice ahead of Sunday's final game of the season against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Iguodala played 30 minutes in Game 6 on Thursday night when he had to spend some time in the locker room getting treatment after his back "locked up." He said the injury stemmed from the long flight and heavy workload he has had in the playoffs.
Iguodala says he plans to spend the time before Game 7 getting treatment, watching U.S. Open golf and watching the final episode of "The Sopranos."
Bucks: Team breaks ground on $500 million downtown arena
MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks had yet to go through the formalities of breaking ground on their downtown arena when co-owner Jamie Dinan wondered what else might be in store: Maybe another celebration in a few years.
"We're going to bring Milwaukee a championship it so truly deserves, and we're really, really looking forward to fulfilling that promise as well," Dinan said Saturday to hearty applause.
The Bucks, who finished last in their division, hope they're on to better things.

The phrase "Build the Future" was on scaffolding above the stage. Nearby, Gov. Scott Walker and other dignitaries would soon gather on a sunny day to move scoops of dirt and gravel with ceremonial shovels. Former Bucks, including Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson, and Marques Johnson were also on hand.
It was the culmination of nearly two years of lobbying and work after Marc Lasry and Wesley Edens headlined an ownership group that bought the team from former U.S. Sen. Herb Kohl. The Bucks were sold on condition the new owners keep the team in Milwaukee (see full story).
Ex-Michigan State player Appling faces more weapons charges
DETROIT -- Authorities say former Michigan State basketball player Keith Appling has been arrested again on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon.
Detroit police Sgt. Michael Woody said Appling was arrested early Saturday after officers stopped a fast-driving Dodge Charger. Woody says officers saw Appling, a passenger, place a weapon under a seat.
The arrest comes days before Appling faces a hearing on weapons and drug charges from a May arrest outside a suburban Detroit strip club. The Friday hearing determines whether he goes to trial.
The Associated Press left a message for Cyril Hall, Appling's attorney in that case.
Appling played for the Spartans from 2010-2014. He had two 10-day contracts with the Orlando Magic this season and played for the Magic's Erie, Pennsylvania, affiliate in the NBA Development League.
Public financing will cover $250 million of the $500 million project, with the current and former owners paying for the rest. It is to be completed for the start of the 2018-19 season.
"I don't know if we'll ever have a day quite like this. Timewise, it's kind of halftime. We started this 2 1/2 years ago, and we have another 2 1/2 years to go," Edens said. "But it's a great time to pause and celebrate."
