Today's Lineup: Not many changes for Phillies after 17 runs Saturday

Share

The Phillies will look to continue their momentum after a historic 17-3 win Saturday night against the Nationals.

Just a small lineup change is on the horizon Sunday afternoon for the Phils, as Andrew Knapp will start at catcher, in place of Cameron Rupp, who capped off last night’s huge win with a solo shot in the 8th inning. This will mark Knapp's second career start. He went 0 for 2 with two walks in Wednesday's loss in Cincinnati.

Jeremy Hellickson, who allowed only one run in six innings against the Reds on opening day, will get the starting nod for the Phils. He also had a triple during that game in Cincy.

The Nationals will start their ace, Stephen Strasburg, who picked up a win during apening day against the Marlins. He pitched seven innings and struck out three, while giving up only two runs.
