Another Harper is coming to Philly!
On Monday, Bryce Harper announced on social media that he and his wife Kayla are expecting a baby boy in August. The expecting couple posed in front of the Ben Franklin Bridge to make the announcement and even had an adorable Baby Harper jacket made for the occasion.
When Harper first signed his 13-year, $330 million deal with the Phillies in March, he mentioned that it wasn’t just about money. It was about spending his career in one city, adding "Beyond the money, years were important to me, being able to put down some roots and grow a family. At the end of this, I could have a couple of kids and they could be able to say they're from Philly."
It looks like Bryce will get his wish. Baby Boy Harper will be born and raised in Philadelphia.
